10月17日，遠(yuǎn)程新能源商用車旗下新能源重卡旗艦車型——遠(yuǎn)程星瀚H醇?xì)潆妱訝恳嚦晒μ魬?zhàn)吉尼斯世界紀(jì)錄^TM稱號，從甘肅武威到新疆吐魯番，僅靠一箱綠色甲醇穿越河西走廊，達(dá)成1522.9公里行駛里程，獲得“半掛式混合動力卡車單次加滿綠色甲醇燃料行駛最遠(yuǎn)距離”榮譽(yù)。經(jīng)過測算，在整車滿載42噸的情況下，總計(jì)消耗甲醇約787升，在抵達(dá)終點(diǎn)時(shí)，剩余醇量還有約15%，百公里平均醇耗約51.7升，按照當(dāng)?shù)卮純r(jià)計(jì)算，每公里成本僅1.034元，相較傳統(tǒng)燃料重卡，用戶運(yùn)營成本大幅降低。

On October 17, Farizon Homtruck Methanol-Hydrogen Electric Tractor, the flagship new energy heavy truck model of Farizon New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group, has clinched a Guinness World Records^TM title for "Longest journey by a hybrid semi-trailer truck on full tanks of sustainable fuel without refueling". From Wuwei, Gansu, to Turpan, Xinjiang, the vehicle crossed the Hexi corridor and covered a distance of 1522.9 kilometers with one tank of green methanol fuel. After calculation, the vehicle is fully loaded with 42 tons and the total methanol consumption is about 787 liters. When arriving at the destination, the remaining methanol volume is about 15%, which means that the average methanol consumption per 100 kilometers is about 51.7 liters. According to the local methanol price, the cost per kilometer is only 1.034 yuan. Compared with the traditional fuel heavy truck, the user operating cost is greatly reduced.

This is the first Guinness World Records^TM title set with green methanol as an energy source in the history of the world's automobiles. It demonstrates the innovative achievements of Farizon characteristic methanol-hydrogen electrification technology and products, and provides a high-quality reference path for China's commercial vehicle new energy transition. Methanol, known as "liquid hydrogen" and "liquid electricity", which is more economical, safer and more sustainable.  The 19th Asian Games Hangzhou employs methanol fuel methanol for the ignition and fueling of the Games cauldron. This is the first time that green methanol regenerated from waste carbon has been used as the cauldron fuel.

The vehicle for this challenge is the mass-produced and marketed Farizon Homtruck Methanol-Hydrogen Electric Tractor. The record-setting journey began from Wuwei, Gansu, passing through Jinchang, Zhangye, Jiuquan, Jiayuguan, Yumen, Hami, and arrived at Turpan, Xinjiang. The whole journey is based on high-speed road conditions. Through real vehicles, real routes, and actual transportation conditions, it has fully tested the economy, applicability, and reliability of Farizon methanol-hydrogen electric technology and products in the field of long-distance line haul logistics, which provides great reference values for the industry and users.

The challenge route for this time goes through Gansu and Xinjiang and crosses the east-west geographical grand passage - Hexi Corridor, which is not only an important transportation route in northwest China, but also a representative of China's comprehensive long-distance trunks. It gathers the characteristics of "highland, high temperature, extreme cold area, combination of expressways and national highways", which is an excellent test site for showing the strength of the full-range of methanol-hydrogen electric technology.

Relying on Geely's 20 years of accumulation in the field of methanol technology, Farizon created a strategic technology roadmap featuring methanol-hydrogen, achieved more user-friendly and economical upgrades and development of pure electric vehicle charging and recharging methods. Compared with pure electric vehicle, methanol-hydrogen electrification has an advantage of ultra-long endurance of 1500 kilometers, and does not need to rely heavily on charging piles to reduce vehicle costs, which effectively solved the problem of endurance anxiety and battery weight. At the same time, its high reliability and strong adaptability provides a better solution for extreme working conditions such as cold areas in the north and high temperatures or plateaus. Before the long-distance test, the Farizon methanol-hydrogen heavy truck had completed three tests of extreme cold area, high temperature and high altitude, covering all the heavy truck use scenarios in China from the low temperature of the Mohe to the high temperature of Turpan, from plain to highland, compound road to expressways and short distance to long distance.

It meets the long-distance transportation needs such as mountain high-speed ways, plain expressways, long-distance logistics, mid-long-distance, meanwhile, it enjoys green license plate road rights, which brings a new breakthrough for the new energy long-distance line haul logistics scenario.

For the market demand of long-distance line haul logistics, in addition to ultra-long endurance, economic benefits are the most important consideration for the majority of users. The excellent energy consumption result of this long-distance test challenge is not an isolated case. Farizon Methanol-Hydrogen Electric Heavy Truck has now been fully industrialized and the economic performance of the product in actual operation has been fully verified. In a real user tests of an operation scenario of Ningbo-Kunming round-trip transportation distance of 4860 kilometers with fully loaded transportation in the area of 60% of the high-speed road in the mountain area, Farizon Homtruck Methanol-Hydrogen Electric Tractor saves 0.99 yuan/kilometer compared with the diesel tractor, saving 0.3 yuan/kilometer compared with the natural gas. In many northern cold areas, Farizon Methanol-Hydrogen Electric Heavy Truck have been put into operation in batches, which can generate up to 2.2 kWh of electricity per liter of methanol, and the cost of electricity is as low as 0.9 yuan/kWh, which is up to 32% lower than that of fuel vehicles.

In order to promote methanol-hydrogen electric commercial vehicle, Farizon designs a diversified green methanol-hydrogen transportation capacity ecology, focuses on vehicle operation, provides users with one-stop refueling services for methanol fuel quality assurance, price assurance, and supply assurance.
